Leinster Plant Sale

The Leinster Plant Sale was a great success.

Many thanks to those who organised the event, the volunteers who arrived to help out and the many visitors who came for the plants.

This is an annual event where members bring along plants they have propagated and offer them for sale both to other members and to the general public. There is always a queue waiting for the gates to open and a dash for the  many choice plants on offer, among them many uncommon heritage plants which would not be available in the trade. If you have not attended previously then keep a watch out for it next autumn  in our Events section and on Facebook. We would love you to join us there.

IGPS Northern Region – Plant Sale at Rowallane Gardens

A great day at the IGPS Plant Sale at Rowallane - with Billy McCone and Barbara Kelso (Plant Sale Organiser) at the stall and ready for action. And, by all accounts, there was great action with good weather, a good attendance and big sales.

These three ladies, three generations of the one family by the way, must surely have been the best shoppers at the IGPS Plant Sale at Rowallane. What a collection of plants they have going home! It is wonderful to have people such as these supporting the plant sale; great to meet them and to share this great interest in plants. All they have to do now is find places for them in their gardens!
