On Saturday the 18th May, the IGPS held its AGM at the magnificent Clandeboye Estate, Bangor, Co Down.

Following a wonderful garden tour by the head gardener, Fergus Thompson, we visited two gorgeous gardens in Newtownards. The first is owned by Roz and Victor Henry, and the second by Doreen and Ivan Wilson, where afternoon tea was served.

Then on Sunday 19th, we visited two beautiful large country gardens on the outskirts of Ballynahinch; Fernhill Cottage Gardens, owned by Thomas McCaw and Thomas Raju and then onto to one owned by Brigid and Liam McDonald. We were treated to garden tours, tea, coffee and cake, all in glorious sunshine!

Everyone had a wonderful time and the IGPS is very grateful to all of the garden owners for sharing their beautiful gardens with us.
