In Áine-Máire Ní Mhurchú’s fist year as an exhibitor, she has achieved success at the Alpine Shows held in Dublin and Belfast during April. She not only won prizes for some of her individual plant exhibits, but also won first prize at both Shows for her beautiful floral arrangements which in each case featured Irish primroses including Primula ‘Dark Rosaleen’, ‘Lady Greer’, ‘Julius Caesar’, ‘Avondale’ and ‘Lissadel’.”
This photo is of Áine-Máire’s Primula ‘Julius Caesar’ which gained a first in Dublin.
This is her winning floral arrangement.
Attending on the day from Beflast, were, left to right: IGPS members Rick Lawrence, Nichola Monk Membership Secretary, Maeve Bell, Newsletter Editor and Simon Scott with Áine-Máire Ní Mhurchú who is holding Primula ‘Lady Greer’.
Huge congratulations to Áine-Máire Ní Mhurchú from all at IGPS.
