This beautiful daffodil has recently be named after George Williamson, Park Supervisor at Antrim Castle Gardens, who sadly passed away in 2022
For more than a decade the Society has enjoyed support from Antrim Council and, in particular, the staff and gardeners at Antrim Castle Gardens. In appreciation and as a thank you, an unnamed daffodil was purchased by the Society for the gardens.

The daffodil, which was held until a name was decided upon, was bred by Brian Duncan and is a cross between ‘Pink Haze’ and ‘Camilla Clara Kate’. Following a request from George’s colleagues to have the daffodil be named in his memory, it has now be registered as ‘George Williamson’
