“Eco-Aesthetic Gardening: Creating Habitats with Soil Life and Beauty”

Conall O’Caoimh and Nuala Doherty, are the creators of Ardán Garden in Howth, a half-acre garden composed of a series of spaces designed to generate feeling. They have a rich botanical collection and are fully organic.

Conall and Nuala describe their approach to gardening as ‘eco-aesthetic’, working to create habitats as well as beauty around their home, which starts by cultivating the life within the soil.

Their talk will describe how and why soil life is cultivated, and how it benefits nature, the garden and the gardener.
